How does the ATS score work?+
Our AI analyses your CV against 47 ATS criteria used by applicant tracking systems at companies like Google, KPMG, Amazon, and Deloitte. We check keyword density, formatting, action verb strength, metric usage, section structure, role relevance, and more. The score is regenerated each time you run it so it reflects your latest edits.
Is my CV data private and secure?+
Yes. Your CV text is sent securely to our AI model (Google Gemini) for processing and is never stored on our servers, sold to third parties, or used to train AI models. We do not share user data with recruiters, employers, or any third party. Your data is processed in real-time and discarded immediately after.
How is this different from ChatGPT?+
ChatGPT is a general-purpose tool. HireBoost AI is purpose-built for job hunting. We use ATS-specific scoring criteria trained on recruiter behaviour, job description keyword matching algorithms, STAR interview coaching rubrics, and salary benchmark data. You would need hours of expert prompt engineering to get similar outputs from ChatGPT.
How accurate is the salary checker?+
The salary checker uses our AI to analyse market data for your role and location, providing indicative ranges based on publicly available salary data. It is a useful guide for negotiation conversations but should be used alongside other sources like Glassdoor, LinkedIn Salary, and Reed for the most accurate picture.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?+
Yes. Cancel anytime from your Stripe billing portal with no questions asked, no penalty, and no hidden fees. Your free plan features remain available after cancellation and you keep access to your paid features until the end of your billing period.
What AI powers HireBoost?+
HireBoost AI uses Google Gemini, one of the most capable AI models available. All requests go through our secure Cloudflare backend — your API key is never exposed to the browser and all communication is encrypted.
